What are macros(macronutrients)?  

In basic terms, macros are the amount of fats, carbs, and protein that you eat during the day.  For keto, you will eat a higher percentage of fats and protein while consuming a very small amount of carbs.  

Why do we limit carbs in keto?

The body naturally uses either carbs or fats for energy.  By eating less than 20g of carbs a day, in just a couple of days, your body will naturally switch from burning sugar and carbs to fats as it’s preferred energy source. By doing so, you turn your body into a 24/7 fat burning machine!
