How we started...
For as long as I can remember I have always struggled with my weight. Rewind back to the winter of 2016, Tim had just returned from a business trip for work and he was miserable. He shared with me that he needed to make a change because his weight and poor health was affecting him in his daily activities. From weekly work travel, to needing to drink a lot of coca cola for caffeine (he's not a coffee drinker) at work to stay awake, to not being able to play with the kids because he's always too exhausted. I'll never forget the day, December 19th, 2016, right before Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Tim and I started a health journey together.

We both wanted to lose weight, Tim also wanted to not need to take bp meds and overall to be healthier. His preferred foods were always burgers, pizza, chips, and snack like foods. Well that was about to change(Kinda!). He knew a fitness and nutritional specialist that we met with. We signed up the same day, not knowing what we were going to go through. We followed every direction that the nutrition specialist provided. We were put on several health supplements and a very strict, clean eating, version of the ketogenic diet. We also were given specific, light, exercises for where we were in our health journey. In ONLY 3 MONTHS, we had a combined weight loss of over 120 lbs.
Why did we create "Keto The Easy Way"?
We created "Keto The Easy Way" as a way to share what we learned, our experiences with keto to-do’s, not to-do’s, and really as an easy way for people to lose weight easily, even if they failed at keto before. We saw keto on several websites and social media platforms, but there was never a simple “do this and you will lose weight” easy guide to follow. It’s our hope that by using this tool, others will find keto as easy as we did.
What is "Keto The Easy Way"?
"Keto The Easy Way" will focus on the basics of the keto way of eating. What to eat, what not to eat, how to know how much to eat, and sample meals and easy recipes. We both believe strongly in supplementation and proper exercise; those elements will be included in the information; however, they are not required for simply losing that unwanted fat. While we will give a basic guideline for the gym when starting out, this program will focus primarily on the nutritional side of getting healthy and cutting fat.
