4 Tortilla's Mission 4g Net Carb Low Carb Tortilla's |
1 Lb 93% Lean Ground Beef |
2 Cups Shredded Iceberg Lettuce |
1 1/2 Cups Shredded Taco Cheese |
1 Packet McCormick Original Taco Seasoning |
Keto Recipe ~ Smash Taco's Directions
- Combine taco seasoning and lean ground beef
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal parts
- Heat griddle grill (or pan on stove top) to medium heat
- Put taco seasoned meat separated on the grill and press down with a smash burger press
- Once top of meat starts to brown, flip the taco meat. You may need to use a flat spatula to scrape the meat loose before flipping it.
- On top of each taco meat patty, add taco cheese and place a tortilla on top and cook for 5 minutes
- Flip the tacos and use the spatula to separate each meat patty into 2 halves
- Top with shredded cheese and shredded lettuce and fold in half.
- Remove from griddle and let sit for 5 minutes before serving
